Al-Mayas Slaughterhouse is located in Qushtapa-Erbil, which is considered one of the most modern slaughterhouses in the region and Iraq.
All automatic devices and machines have been equipped and installed by Stork and Meyn Dutch company.
The slaughterhouse is continuously supervised by a veterinary doctor and the Department of Health in Erbil Governorate. It is certified with the international Halal certificate for manually slaughtered Halal chicken using a sharp knife, according to Islamic Shariah. It also holds the following certifications: FSSC, ISO 2200-2018, and GMP.
Al-Mayas Slaughterhouse produces chicken and chicken parts under (Kurdistan Chicken & Almayas Chicken) with the highest degree of quality so that it can compete with its counterparts in the Middles East and European countries.
Al-Mayas Slaughterhouse operates automatically at high speed, reaching the slaughter of more than 650 thousand chickens per month and provides the products to the Kurdistan and Iraqi markets.
